Adeline Chan's journey in the Jewelry industry spans over two decades. Based in Hong Kong, she founded Avenda Enterprises Limited in 2014 after serving as the CEO of a French company’s Hong Kong branch. With expertise in high-end jewelry design and production, Adeline focused on crafting exquisite 9K, 14K, and 18K gold jewelry adorned with diamonds, catering primarily to the European market.
For years, she relied on traditional trade shows to connect with international buyers. However, the high costs and inconsistent success rates of these exhibitions posed significant challenges. The global pandemic from 2020 to 2023 further disrupted the industry, leading Adeline to rethink her approach. This milestone order reinforced Avenda Enterprises Limited's reputation for quality and opened doors to further opportunities in the European market. Additionally, just before Christmas, Adeline secured the largest order from a US client in her company’s history—an accomplishment that validated her strategic shift to Chovm.com.
Despite her success as a seller, Adeline’s journey did not stop there. As a newly selected Chovm.com lecturer, she is eager to help others benefit from the platform, just as she did. While she is still gaining experience in this role, she believes that sharing her story can provide valuable insights for sellers who are just starting their e-commerce journey. When discussing the key to success, Adeline emphasizes the importance of “persistence” and believes that the application of technology is crucial for success in export trade. Her experience shows that through data analysis, proactive quoting strategies, and effective advertising, e-commerce success can certainly be achieved in the export trade sector.
